As MD of Combined Finance Holdings, Renier is also an admitted attorney and was previously a legal advisor and project manager in the property development industry after leaving the practice of law.

Jacques is the CFO of Combined Finance. He has completed his SAICA articles and post-graduate diploma in accounting science and is currently working towards finalising his CA(SA) qualification. He has more than 9 years’ experience in the accounting industry and brings a depth of hands-on finance experience to our team.

Ric is one of our relationship managers for the Northern provinces, with a focus on Pretoria and surrounds. Ric enjoys his job because he likes helping people solve the cash flow problems that are inevitable in life. Ric has a marketing diploma, but gained his real education with 40 years in the school of life. He has spent 18 years in the bridging finance industry and is therefore the veteran of our firm. Renske is our relationship manager in the Western Cape. She has in-depth knowledge of customer service liaison and deal-making that she obtained while working for various corporate companies. She has a passion for business and people. Past work experience has afforded her a well-rounded skill set including creative problem-solving skills. Assisting with the day-to-day admin tasks, Luzaan's favourite part of her job is working with an inspired team. With a dream of living near the sea, her ideal loan purchase would be a house on the beach.

Mariska is an admitted attorney, conveyancer and notary public and has more than 15 years’ experience as a practicing attorney, specialising in deceased estate administration and conveyancing. She forms part of our credit team as a specialist.

Assisting with the administration at Combined Finance, Annelien loves meeting interesting people every day and enjoys working with a great team. What would be her dream purchase if she took out a loan? A bigger and better home for her family!

Assisting with the day-to-day administrative duties, Corne’s favourite part of her job is working with a great team, meeting new and interesting people and learning something new every day. If she could get a loan for anything, she would build her dream house.

Assisting with bookkeeping and admin tasks, Vanessa’s favourite part of her job is working with a positive and professional team every day. Her ideal loan purchase will be a house somewhere along the beautiful West Coast.

Antoinette assists with day-to-day administration and fulfilment at Sentinel Homes & Combined Finance. With 24 years’ administrative experience, her passion is seeing to the small details and organising the office to make sure all systems work perfectly. Her ideal loan purchase would be a house/farm where she could be close to wild animals.

Prieur is also CEO of Plexus Holdings, an investment business he founded in 1995, and its division iCRAFT Board Governance Consultants. He serves as non-executive director of Distell Group, trustee of the Professional Provident Society (PPS) Holdings Trust, non-executive director of PPS Insurance Company, non-executive director of PPS Short-term Insurance Company, non-executive director of PPS Investments, member of the Investment Committee of the Legal Practitioners Indemnity Insurance Fund, and is the immediate past non-executive chairperson of the Institute of Directors (South Africa). He is also a member of the Advisory Board of the University of Stellenbosch Business School (USB), and chair of the Audit and Risk Committee and member of the Investment Committee of Stellenbosch University. Additionally, he is professor extraordinaire at USB, Honorary Consul General of Slovenia for South Africa and deputy Dean of the Consular Corps of Cape Town.

A practising chartered accountant for over a decade, Carel is also a founding partner in a successful chartered accountants practice, C2M Chartered Accountants. A seasoned entrepreneur, he has engaged in several service provision ventures in the financial services, and related, industries.

John is concurrently a director and the chairman of the Credit & Risk Committee. A qualified chartered accountant with extensive experience in banking, as well as the specialised finance industry, he was previously MD and founder of MainFin (Pty) Ltd, a niche financier and non-bank lender similar to Combined Finance.
